User Defined Job Templates are applied in a similar way as JITL Job Templates:

Clicking the Wizard button brings forward a popup window that offers

The current job will be populated from the Job Template like this:

The Job Properties tab indicates if the current job is in sync with its Job Template:

  • The blue sync icon indicates that the job is in sync with the currently released version of its Job Template.
  • Right to the sync icon users find a link that allows to navigate to the Job Template.
  • Right to the Job Template link users find a trash icon to remove the reference to the Job Template.

Should the current job not be in sync with its Job Template then the Job Template reference indicator looks like this:

Removing a Job Template Reference

In the Job Properties tab users find the trash icon with the Job Template reference indicator that allows to remove the reference to the Job Template:

  • When clicking the trash icon then the reference to the Job Template is removed.
  • Except for the Job Template reference the current job will not be modified.
  • The job no longer is subject to updates from the Job Template, for example by Bulk Operations for Update from Job Templates.
  • Users can later on use the Wizard button to update the current job from a Job Template and thus renew the reference to the Job Template.
