Introduction
For JOC Cockpit the joc-cockpit repository holds the source code for the Angular based Web Browser GUI to manage JS7.
Prerequites
- The
joc-cockpit
repository holds an Angular project wrapped in a maven project. To be able to build the Angular source code node.js and npm (node package manager) have to be installed. - At the time of writing SOS uses node.js version v12.21.0 and npm version 6.14.11. The usage of the build tool is managed in the maven configuration of the project.
Clone Repository
Navigate to your desired destination folder and clone the repository from the github page.
git clone https://github.com/sos-berlin/joc-cockpit
Checkout
Checkout Tagged Version
Retrieve list of available tagged versions
git fetch --all --tags
Checkout a desired version to a local branch
git checkout tags/[desired version] -b [desired local branch name] e.g. git checkout tags/v2.0.0 -b release/v2.0.0
Checkout Latest Tagged Version
Determine latest tagged version and store it to a local variable.
Retrieve Latest Tagged Version
tag=$(git describe --tags `git rev-list --tags --max-count=1`)
Checkout latest using the just stored variable to a local branch "latest".
Checkout Latest
git checkout $tag -b latest
Build
From the root of the checked out project call:
mvn clean install
