Both the JADE Client and BackgroundService can run on any operating system that can support a Java Virtual Machine. The JADE Client is written in Java and the BackgroundService is provided by a JobScheduler. Both the Client and the BackgroundService/JobScheduler are written in Java and do not require any libraries that are specific to 32-bit and 64-bit systems. This means that the JADE Client and Background Service can be run in conjunction with either 32 or 64-bit JAva versions.
Versions of the JADE Client and BackgroundService for Windows and Unix systems can be downloaded directly from our web site. Versions for other operating systems are only available in conjunction with a commercial license.
Java 1.6 or newer is required for both the JADE Client and BackgroundService.
