Introduction
JADE can run on all operating systems that support a Java Virtual Machine. JADE is tested to work for the platforms that JobScheduler is operated for, see Which platforms is JobScheduler available for and what platform support is provided?
The JADE Client requires a Java Virtual Machine:
- SOS performs testing for JADE with the Oracle Java Virtual Machine.
- SOS cannot guarantee compatibility with other Java Virtual Machines such as openJDK.
The JADE Background Service requires a JobScheduler instance:
- The JADE Background Service Jobs are operated for platforms that JobScheduler is provided for.
- The YADE Background Service History Viewer is operational in a servlet container such as Jetty.
