  • The JobScheduler ID should be unique amongst among all the JobSchedulers except if , unless you want to install a cluster.

    • On Microsoft® Windows® the JobScheduler ID is used after the setup is completed to set the name of the JobScheduler service in the sos_scheduler_[scheduler_id] form. 
  • The TCP port and HTTP / HTTPS ports must also be unique amongst among all the JobSchedulers installed on one computer.

It is recommended that all the JobSchedulers installed on a computer or in a network use the same database connectionJobScheduler and, if required, Reporting Databases.This must be the case a Backup Cluster or Load Balancing is  is to be used.
