Managing Order Tags

Orders can be added tags for the following purposes:

  • to allow filtering of orders in any JOC Cockpit views.
  • to display metadata assigned to orders.

Displaying Order Tags

Tags can be used for filtering and they can be used to display metadata of orders, for example

  • to make visible categories,
  • to focus on the relevance of orders,
  • to make metadata available such as a department, application etc. that the order is running for.

Order tags are displayed in any JOC Cockpit views such as in the Workflows view like this:

As a prerequisite users have to enable display of order tags from the JS7 - Settings page:

Explanations:

  • The setting offers to specify the number of Order Tags displayed in any views.
  • The default value is 0 which suggests that users have to enable the feature. There is a negligible performance decrease in a number of views when enabling this setting. As JS7 users tend to be demanding when it comes to performance, display of Order Tags by default is disabled.

In a number of views tags can be used to apply filtering filter display of workflows and orders:
