The solution explained from this article is deprecated. A more efficient feature is available from the JS7 - Settings page using the log_ext_directory setting to specify a directory to which JOC Cockpit will optionally store copies of order logs and task logs.

Introduction

JS7 does not make use of files for log output of order logs and task logs, see JS7 - Order Logs and Task Logs. Instead, JS7 streams log output from Agents to the Controller and the JOC Cockpit without use of files.
