Introduction
YADE can run on all operating systems that support a Java Virtual Machine. YADE is tested to work for the platforms that JobScheduler is operated for, see Which platforms is JobScheduler available for and what platform support is provided?
The YADE Client requires a Java Virtual Machine:
- SOS performs testing for YADE with the Oracle Java Virtual Machine and with openJDK.
- SOS cannot guarantee compatibility with other Java Virtual Machines.
The YADE Background Service requires a JobScheduler instance:
- The YADE Background Service Jobs are operated for platforms that JobScheduler is provided for.
- The YADE Background Service History Viewer is operational in a servlet container such as Jetty.
