- Using the input box in the right upper edge of a browser window would search the Product Knowledge Base.
Using the input box navigation in pages that display an index of children pages would search all pages starting from the current page node.

- Confluence makes use of the Lucene indexing engine - which has its good and bad:
- Lucene is fast.
- Lucene is somewhat based on natural language words and therefore would not find search terms that are parts within words instead of individual words.

Limitations
- Confluence does not index the contents of macros. Therefore content that is included in the Code Macro, e.g. examples in languages as XML or JavaScript for jobs and job chains, are not indexed and cannot be searched for.
