JobScheduler Universal Agent is operated with a JobScheduler Master.
- JobScheduler Master: Windows®, Linux®
- JobScheduler Universal Agent: Windows®, Linux®, Solaris®, AIX®, HP-UX®, Mac OS®, ... and any other platform that supports a Java Virtual Machine
Agent Cluster
Agent Clusters provide redundancy and automated fail-over of Agents:
- A number of JobScheduler Agents can be configured in an Agent Cluster.
- Fixed Priority Scheduling
- JobScheduler Master will select the first available Agent for execution of jobs.
- If an Agent is not available then the next available Agent is selected from the Agent Cluster.
- Round-Robin Scheduling
- JobScheduler Master will switch the Agent for each job execution.
- If an Agent is not available then the next available Agent is selected from the Agent Cluster.
