JavaScript Implementations

- It is recommended to use the JavaScript implementation that ships with the JVM:
- The Nashorn implementation is available starting with JVM 1.8 and is referenced by use of the
<script language="java:javascript"/> attribute. - The Spidermonkey implementation is deprecated as it has not been ported to 64bit environments. This language is available by use of the
<script language="javascript"/> attribute.
